Lead with enterprise sales scope
Put your current enterprise title, years in B2B sales, account segment, and annual quota near the top. Show whether you sell new business, expansions, or both, and name the typical buyer functions you work with. If your experience is mostly mid-market, state the account size or deal complexity clearly so readers can judge how it maps to enterprise work.
Make quota results easy to read
For each recent role, include quota attainment with the period and quota type, such as annual new ARR or total bookings. Add deal count, contract value, pipeline created, expansion ARR, or renewal rate when you can support the figures. Explain the action behind the result—account plans, discovery, multithreading, or mutual action plans—rather than listing percentages without context.
Show how you manage complex deals
Describe the buying group and major steps you handled, such as business case development, technical validation, procurement, security review, and negotiation. Name MEDDPICC or another sales method only if you used it in practice, and connect it to qualification or forecast decisions. Keep customer identities confidential; use industry, account size, or deal value where disclosure is permitted.
Keep tools and training relevant
List the CRM and sales tools you have actually used, such as Salesforce, Clari, or Gong, along with any current, relevant sales training. There is no universally required license for an enterprise account executive, so do not add unrelated credentials to fill space. Leave out generic claims about being a closer and details about internal sales processes that an outside reader cannot assess.
