Software Engineering & Cloud · Senior (6+ yrs)
This sample shows how a senior fullstack developer can connect product work to measurable improvements across a B2B SaaS platform. A strong resume for this role makes your frontend and backend ownership clear, names the technologies you used, and explains what changed for users or the business.
What recruiters and tracking systems look for. A guide, not a prediction.
100 / 100Complete
Put these at the top; recruiters and tracking systems look for them first.
Optional. In the US, UK and Canada resumes usually have no photo.
One job per paragraph; start each achievement on a new line with “-”.
Separate skills with commas, for example: Excel, SQL, project planning.
Projects, certifications, languages or anything else that supports your application.

Start each recent role with the product area or services you owned, then name the stack and the outcome. Senior fullstack postings often expect both UI and server-side work, so show where you made decisions across that boundary. Include scale that gives the work context, such as active users, services, or release frequency, when you can support it.
Describe the user or operational problem, the change you made, and a measured result. Useful measures include page response time, onboarding completion, release duration, support volume, and query cost. Use a before-and-after figure or a reasonable scope count; explain the period or denominator when needed, and avoid claiming improvements that cannot be tied to your work.
Use the exact tools from your experience in a compact skills section, then repeat the most relevant ones in achievement lines with their purpose. Group frontend, backend, data, cloud, and delivery tools if the list grows. Mention AWS services or frameworks you actually used, but leave out tools you only encountered briefly or broad labels such as “full stack.”
AWS certifications are optional for many fullstack roles, so list a current certification only when it supports the jobs you want; include its official name and issuer. Add a portfolio or GitHub link if it shows substantial, current work you can discuss. Remove tutorial projects, confidential code, and unrelated certifications, and do not include license numbers or private client details.
Skills and tools often listed for this role. Use only the ones you have, in the job advert's wording. Click one to copy it.
One or two pages is usually practical. With several years of relevant work, use two pages if the second page adds substantial technical ownership, outcomes, or mentoring experience. Keep recent roles detailed and older or less relevant work brief. Remove repeated technology lists and project details that do not support the roles you are targeting.
No. Prioritize tools that appear in the jobs you are targeting and that you could discuss in an interview. Put core, current skills in the skills section and show how you used the most relevant ones in your experience. Older tools can stay in a brief additional list when they matter to the role; omit tools you have only tried casually.
Most software engineering jobs do not require a general development certification. Cloud credentials such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate can help document platform knowledge when the role emphasizes AWS, but they do not replace evidence of shipped work. List the exact credential name, issuer, and current status; certification requirements vary by employer and job.
Yes. Make the transition credible by showing hands-on work on the other side of the stack, such as API changes, database queries, UI features, or deployment tasks. Use a project or recent role to explain what you built and what you learned. Avoid presenting limited exposure as production ownership, and tailor the resume to the fullstack duties in each posting.
