Lead with picking and packing
Put recent warehouse, stockroom, or order preparation work near the top. Name the tasks you handled, such as reading pick lists, scanning items, checking quantities, packing parcels, and staging orders. If you have a reliable measure, include a modest figure for order lines or cartons handled; never guess at an accuracy rate.
Name equipment you have used
List scanners, pallet jacks, packing tools, and warehouse systems only if you have used them. Distinguish a manual pallet jack from powered equipment, and do not imply you are certified to operate machinery unless you hold the relevant certificate. Employers can train you on equipment you have not used.
Include informal and short-term work
Packing online orders for a small seller, helping with stock at a family shop, or seasonal warehouse shifts can show relevant skills. Give honest dates and describe the work clearly. For agency placements, you can list the agency and note the type of warehouse assignment without naming each client.
Keep details useful and clear
Use short bullets about accuracy checks, safe lifting, replenishing stock, and preparing orders for dispatch. Include relevant training and languages used at work. Leave out unsupported speed claims, personal details unrelated to the job, and long descriptions of duties that do not show what you can do.
